Marrakech to Merzouga ending in Fes

Your journey begins after breakfast in Marrakech, as we head southeast through the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260m). Along the way, you’ll enjoy panoramic views, traditional Berber villages, and photogenic landscapes.

Our first major stop is the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, a stunning ksar used in many films including Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After exploring the kasbah, we continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” and pass through the Valley of Roses.

We’ll arrive at the Dades Valley, famous for its dramatic rock formations and gorges, where you'll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a charming guesthouse or riad.

After breakfast, we drive through the Dades Valley and on to the breathtaking Todra Gorges, where you can take a short walk alongside the 300-meter-high canyon walls. It's a favorite for rock climbers and nature lovers.

Then we head to the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga, where your camel caravan awaits. Ride across the golden sand dunes at sunset, arriving at your luxury desert camp in the heart of the Sahara.

Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, live Berber music around the campfire, and a night under the starry desert sky in your private tent.

Rise early to watch the sunrise over the dunes – a truly magical moment. After breakfast, we depart Merzouga, passing through the Ziz Valley with its thousands of date palms and scenic kasbahs.

We’ll travel through Midelt, located between the Middle and High Atlas Mountains, and continue through lush cedar forests near Azrou, where you might see Barbary monkeys.

The tour concludes with a comfortable drop-off at your accommodation in Fes, one of Morocco’s most ancient and spiritual cities.
